Every e-mail finishes with a standardized closing line and the full name of the sender. The additional contact details are positioned at the bottom and separated by horizontal lines both above and below. The contact details begin with the company name, followed by the name of the employee and their position (in English). The employee’s name is followed by the address data in an international format, including the person’s individual telephone number, mobile number if applicable, and e-mail address. The company’s Internet address is written on the last line.
Apprentices are requested to regularly change their signature to correspond with their current working location.
With the renewal of the signatures, the fax number is omitted from the contact details. Colleagues who rely on the fax number in their daily business can, of course, include it in the signature.
In addition, a LinkedIn button is added at the end of the signature. The logo is linked to the LinkedIn company channel of the Coroplast Group. We would like to ask all employees at the Chinese plants to include the WeChat QR code of the Coroflex company channel.
The aim of this extension is to strengthen the visibility of our company account for customers as well as applicants and thus to increase the brand awareness of Coroflex.
Please replace the updated template with your current email signature.
For the internal business communication, the signature was slimmed down. The company logo and the web address were removed and the signature was reduced to the e-mail address, the landline and mobile numbers.
For the internal signature, it is important to note that the black lines should always end with the longest line of the signature for visual differentiation.
We would ask you to adapt the black lines individually to your signature by either shortening the line via the delete key or extending it with further underscores.
To add a new e-mail signature or change an existing one, you must first open Outlook and click on "File" at the top left.
As soon as the window with your account information has opened, you will find the item "Options" in the bottom left menu which you must select.
Next, a window opens with your Outlook options. There you can add or change a signature under the item "E-mail" by simply clicking on the button "Signatures...".
You can add a new signature by clicking on the "New" button. Or change an existing signature directly in the text field. After all changes have been made, you still have to click on "Save" and your signature is active.
Below you will find a list of e-mail signatures including the logo for your business unit, which you can easily copy into your Outlook signature and adapt there.
